Why is it that eating chocolate cake for breakfast is so unacceptable? Who came up with this rule? Well, anyway, since even I can’t bring myself to let my kids have chocolate cake for breakfast, we’ll just eat these delicious chocolate pancakes instead! I’m pretty sure that they’re not any healthier, but there’s no doubt they’re just as delicious. Besides, sometimes it’s okay to be a fun mom and let your kids eat chocolate for breakfast!
These pancakes are the perfect blend of rich decadent deliciousness! Not teeth rottingly rich (i know rottingly isn’t a word,) but sweet enough to ease your sweet tooth! And the whipped peanut butter compliments it perfectly!
David came into the kitchen last week while I was making these and in a dissapointed tone asked if I had made any “regular pancakes.” He didn’t have high hopes for this recipe, but since he was hungry he gave it a try. He ended up eating three. I suppose he was pleasantly surprised.
This is another one of those, so simple you don’t need a full tutorial kind of recipes, so I’ll just leave you the printable version below! Click here for the whipped peanut butter recipe!
